Put a voltage trace on the base of the first transistor, If you wait long enough, it will start, a 4.7M resistor gives a quicker start and a faster flash rate. A 1.5k base resistor on the drive transistor calms the pulse.

A 1second trace rate is equivalent to real time, try this circuit, it's pulse rate is not real stable, but it should work. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6593673979756544
