Now you need to feed it into a filter to generate the negative part and make a full AM.

You would need a filter to get rid of all frequencies which are unwanted. Wanted is from lowersideband to uppersideband and in center the carrier. But this depends on the kind of AM you want. I have tested your circuit with some modification (little) and a bandpass LC filter to get a nice AM looking signal.
