2 rectified halves into one opamp

Is this done in the real world, running ± into the opamp? 3∅power supply rectified into 22VA dc motor(used lights for load)

They do but not like that with the 3 phase. Dont forget the op amp has a secondary power source thats not shown, it will need to be powered in real life. So unless you need the op amp to clean up the wave, it would just waste power like here.
