You're missing the output capacitor to get a less variable voltage, depends on the variation you wish

Maybe he forgot the extra capacitor at output, but maybe not. Now its a first order lowpass which can do the job as you can see. Put a cap makes a second order lowpass. Maybe @Shovex just don't care an extra additional order?
