I sometime wonder why someone use and buy this app without having any competence. it is as if I were using an app x nuclear physicists have no idea what an atom

That you get a serious answer: That's an NE555 / 555 Timer. It can generate a pulse (time the pulse is sent and time between two pulses depends on other components)

There are many interesting examples that use this IC

Sankshitpandoh, writing NE555 on google you will have all explanations you need, many schematic circuits application. If I can advice you, search for some electronic (vintage) magazines or books, realize some circuits with your hands, to be familiar with components. Starting from zero, I think this is not the best place to learn, should be better study theory on some manuals before, realize some circuits using solder etc. This I meant on my previous msg. Anyway, excuse me, I did not hurt you. :)

Welcome to EC. Couple of ideas for you. 1st look at the Examples tab circuits many times. 2nd use the search feature to look for circuits you might like, LEDs ...3rd Have fun post, with questions, there some BRILLIANT folks on here. An app called Lessons in Electricity will help you a ton.

@giomix may have been harsh, but he has a solid point. I paid money for this app, but never would have done so if I had absolutely no idea what the hell it was I was buying. Having said that, it would be logical to assume that the influx of new users who haven't any idea of what's going on here, are using pirated software >=^(

Maybe Igor and the boys could have new users complete a tutorial first so asto not clutter this up so much
