High Voltage Oscillator

The 1uF capacitor connected to ground is to prevent "Cannot find solution". I had an idea and made it and it ended up becoming a very high voltage oscillator that's powered by just 12V. It will even exceed 5kV if you're patient. It'll probably go even higher, but you'd have to be very patient for that. If you increase the 100nF capacitor to 33uF and add a couple of 160V zener diodes then you will have an inverter. If you do so, then it will consume 15W at max load and probably a little more when unloaded. Since the max load in that configuration 12W, that gives it an optimal efficiency of 75-80%. The 1ohm resistor is to represent the parasitic resistance of the inductor.

He didn't call it tesla coil because it's not, I hope

This offers us what LeBitchyBoy thinks about its own creations of bullshit?

That's an interesting circuit, jason9

LC circuits are fun! 8-D This one's pretty good. The voltage builds up fast, it draws a reasonable current through the driver transistors, and can supply a few milliamps.

Yep, it is not. At least I triggered Hurz so hard to call me a bitch again.
