You can remove the inverter gate when you flip the opamp inputs. And would be cool to see 555 itself into regulating loop, so far its just the opamp doing the job and 555 is only a pulse generator. Keep it up please!

There is a thousand possiblities to change/improve that circuit. Check my other circuits and don't try to teach me. I do not need it.
