I had a question... Dont lights normally run on dc?

@johnflamel yep they do but in this way I avoid the ac dc

If thats what you would use for a dimmer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. You used a basic bulb. Use a dimmer switch. If it was l.e.d. could use other components for voltage dimming.

Realistically, where are your 20v sources coming from? And since they are reverced that is a potential short being like they are... massive load on the diods
