An elevator takes in 20 inputs from the security company to unsecure each floor the elevator serves, at the same time. When this happens, the processor communications appears to malfunction. An attempt to simulate an RC circuit that could delay small groups of inputs so the communication network could adequately process the information. This circuit is just a single input circuit. The timing could be adjusted by changing the 8K resistor value. The volt meter represents the point at which the output would be used after the delay. The system switches low, so we are delaying the decay of voltage via the capacitor and resistor combination. When N/C push button is pushed, the capacitor dissipates through the 8kohm resistor. When the voltage drops below the processors' input voltage threshold, the input is perceived to be ON. Problems exist due to the initial spike in voltage when the push button is released. This presents approximate 10V spike at the terminal of the processor input. An inductor was added, thinking it may dampen the initial current rise from the decaying capacitor. However it only added to the voltage spike induced.

Thanks @wyoelk. I was looking at a circuit with the minimal of components to see how it may work. I'll end up using a PLC. like your circuits though.
