It may not be evident, but you can display voltages on the scope without adding voltmeters, by highlighting the corresponding wire, as in http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6435530053779456

In that case you may also find it useful to know that when cutting wires, there's a simple way to not remove the whole network after selection by single tap - tap another time, then you can cut the single section you tapped on. Took me a bit to notice when I started, so that may be something which is easy to miss too.
