A current clamp meter for 50/60Hz. A weakly coupled, low inductance 1:1 transformer represents the loop around the wire under test. Two high gain amplifiers amplify the signal to a level measurable with an ADC. A large capacitor DC decouples the amplifier input while providing a low impedance for mains frequencies.
Designed to operate on a single 5V supply, such as for use in conjunction with a microcontroller.
