Find the good resistor for LED

Nominal LED current for EC is 20mA so you’re not far away. You can just tweak the resistor value or you could calculate it. To calculate, you have chosen a 9V supply, the LED will drop 3.5V so the resistor must drop 9-3.5=5.5V. Using Ohms law, V=I x R, R=V/I so R=5.5/0.02=275 Ohms. (I note you’ve altered LED working voltage from default 2V to 3.5V).
