Bottom switch connects to low trigger on accelerator, connected series with the brake sensor. Batteries connect in parallel to give 12v output to motor. Top swtich connects to high trigger on accelerator. Batteries connect in series to give 24v output to motor. No output to motor if brake is on i.e. bottom switch opens
