⭐️On-Off Switch Using A 555 Timer⭐️

When switch 2 is pressed, the voltage on pin 2 of timer 555 changes sharply from 6 volts to 0 volts. This triggers the 555. The timer output (pin 3) passes to a nearby 6-volt voltage. The 6 volts, at the output of the 555, activates the LED.

To deactivate the LED switch 1 is pressed. When switch 1 is pressed the voltage on pin 6 of the 555 timer changes temporarily to 6 volts. The output of the 555 (pin 3) will have a voltage close to 0 volts, the LED will be will be deactivated.

Lenzrulz, this is indeed a legitimate and solid working circuit and we have seen many, many times before. But if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, it is a duck. Lenny, please get help. Stop running fromthe issues you face. You avoid any real in-depth discussion of electronics, life or behavior. You project all fault and blame to others. We have never seen you apologize or admit error. Pretty sure this a sign of someone needing greater assistance and perhaps a extended break from the internet to read a book and collect their values, thoughts and see what real life is about. I sense the great frustations you feel in more and more of your comments. Many are offering to help, please accept it.

My studies in college to teach included several classes in psychology lenny. Your behavior is one of total denial of failure, complete lack of self acceptance or zero grasp of reality. All three define your comments and postings to other users. Your repostings are merely a tool, just like a kid talking during a test he is unprepared to take, of either a desire for attention or one of contention. Hoping eventually the challenge goes away. Kiani, I am not wanting anyone turning against anyone. It would be great if everyone posted critique in a non-personal way and if everyone didn't think a comment on their circuits was a personal attack on them. But somehow we have digressed way past that. I believe many of us probably need serious help because apparently we some users are too stubborn to let go. One wants better posts, one better comments, one better grammar, one better components, one less hate, one a better Igor,...
