Half wave :p

@ ETJAKEOC: Sorry Jake, but it IS full wave. Just because there are two sources does not matter. What matters is the output. The source here could simply be a center tapped secondary winding.

Split phase! But with 2 sources you can have a 3 phase rectifier.

I don't follow you rich. Could you elaborate please?

Look at my 3 phase with 2 sources

2nd source is 120°, making 3 different poles to push and pull from

I still don't understand your point. The question here is whether this circuit is half wave or full.

I disagree with your 3 phase with 2 sources. The output matters and yours is not a 3 phase output. It is cute... But not 3 phase.

Some single phase sources are two phases of a three phase wye xformer. With these two phases and neutral you get a open delta, with the open from A to C, and B as the grounded conductor(or whatever). This type of supply can run some 3 phase loads and controllers as long as they can be derated, and dont need to look at the grounded phase for voltage.

Where's the negative wave? This is just a positive bridge, full wave incurrs that both positive and negative (with one being groundes or not) is true full wave as it uses the negative cycle and not just the positive
