Time delay off

Just a simple time delay off circuit. I will be implementing this on the foglights on my wife's car so her lights will stay on until she gets inside the house.

Simpler delays are possible- I removed both diodes and the 200R and noted identical circuit operation. Also, to more accurately simulate, use an incandescent lamp here and adjust it's power ratings to match the foglights on the car..

I removed the 200 ohm resistor and the delay time increased a lot, i tried and then replaced the 1kohm resistor with a 166 ohm resistor but it started with a high current
