Connect across the 1K-ohm resistor, and then take it out. It still has the bug.

Its not a bug. However, what does it stop you to do? What is your final circuit look like?

This is more a glitch, in this case the diodes should stop completely the circuit, like an open switch, but in this app if the circuit is closed current must flow, so the glitch.
