HF Slayer Exciter

cool variant from the typical slayer circuit. However, i dont believe you could run this in real life without immediately burning up the transistor. The peak current thru the collector-emmitter junction is over 7amps and the voltage at the collector drops to negative during the second half of the cycle and pulls 2 amps of current in the reverse direction from emitter to collector which will definately destroy the transistor if the heat being dissapated from the high current doesnt destroy it first. This circuit could probably work if you added a couple protection diodes and increase the resistance between +Vsup and base. Still very creative design. clever idea.
