A theoretical firing mechanism for a railgun, the timing controlled by the voltage at each inverting input.

The trigger intervals seem to be pretty linear. So I guess it doesn't compensate for the actual acceleration yet. You would need to tweak the RC networks from left to right accordingly to prevent late triggering.

I believe the same effect can be achieved by exponential coil spacing w/ linear timing (as opposed to linear coil spacing and exponential timing)
