Would this voltage meter work IRL?
Because I need to know the voltage up to 100000 volts.

problem in this low ohmic configuration is the power. 100kV²/101.1kΩ=98.9kWatt quite a lot power you need. Solution you have to go up in resistance far above 100MΩ !!

i said 'above' 100MΩ in this configuration 50kV*500uA=25Watt still a lot power, guess your source cant drive that.

@Jarmo, the upper circuit is good for 166kWatt power consumption while the lower on for even double 333kWatt. Both are not realistic!
