you powered a LED and a bulb from 120V power source through a diode bridge and a series resistor..... it's OK.... but it's a power waste. The voltage drop on resistor is about 115V and the curent is about 0.02Amp, so the power on resistor is 115V x 0.02A ,= xx W. In this case you heated up the resistor (because you wanted so :))

What I'm seeing is an attempt at converting AC to DC, but didn't use a transformer for a voltage drop... https://everycircuit.com/circuit/5162558023270400
