Simple Attenuator

It's a basic attenuator which is designed by using simple VOLTAGE DIVISION PRINCIPLE .

                V(out) = V(in)*(R1/R1+R2)
                         Here, R1>>R2

Here we can observe that 1KV(1000Volts) is reduced to approximately 2V by making that LED to glow.
