555 inverter Circuit

I'm trying to get it so that on the circuit can be optimized more, there is probably a lot of things that can be done to make is so that I need less DC power sources and get it all hooked up properly. I'm trying to get a transformer hooked up to this but whenever I do its just greyed out and doesn't do much of anything. My end goal for this project is to get this to produce DC-AC from a 555 timer. I'm pretty new to the electronics scene (high school hobbyist) so I don't really know too much on how all of this stuff works. Any insight and help would be greatly appreciated.

@wyoelk Quick question, I've been dabbling in the mosfets for a bit and they have been super odd to deal with. Are the mosfets on here n-type enhancement? And are they logic level? I keep looking at tutorials online and all of them make it look like they aren't too different from just some regular BJT where if you pass a voltage threshold on the gate-pin the resistance between the source and drain drops off, am I missing something here?

How do I get the transformer to work, it doesn't really seem to be working with the way I have it set up right now.

Looks like you may have adjusted the relay settings. And I know NOTHING about MOSFETs. Couldn't even tell you how to search for information. Best of luck
