That's cool, most circuits of this type also need a reset switch.

Not sure why you’re so impressed since you can’t unlatch it without disconnecting the right-hand supply?

Some error trapping circuits want the whole circuit power supply removed upon fault and the circuit repaired before the power is re-applied. If it was a standard start/stop circuit, it would probably look more like this, http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5259300225417216
