LED and Lamp circuit

when the LED is on we see the Lamp
is off,but one suprising thing is when 
the Lamp is on the LED turns off.

The led lights up at 2V. When you bring in the bulb the voltage drops to 1.5V which is insufficient to light the led - it needs 2V.

Current (mostly) takes path of least resistance - in this case it's the bulb.
