The blue led represents a bluetooth speaker with its own 3 high quality batteries, the pink led is a dual USB charger with 50 lower quality batteries. Can someone explain why the battery shorts out when switch is thrown.i want both to run independent until the speaker starts dying then flip the switch so the 50 batteries power both, with an led to show its working.

funny, a single "low quality lithium ion" accu might have 300mΩ internal resistance. 50 of this $hit in parallel is 6mΩ. The voltage of 50x$hit is still 3.6V, thats chemie, and it will burn your ultra high quality ultra violett laser LED. Anyway, music is back. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4748592953425920

you are aware of your low voltage configuration? fully charged lithium accus do have 4.25V. Nominal operating they have 3.65V and empty they show 3.0V. Be careful with anything which needs an exact voltage like LEDs
