Wrong. 120VAC is 170 VPeak not 120, and the 16V is just for show, put a load on it and watch the voltage collapse

If you want to improve it, look up power supplies for good examples. And this circuit gave me an idea for a switching power supply

@sshsslfun, after so many years we helped the Community and so many circuit problems we both solved. After so many years of redraw and explain of circuit you and i have done. After years of calculating filter parameter. After years of examples we created and calculated and helped uaers to understand thier problems. Its time you must come to tell me what im doing wrong?
