Switch closed = alarm (red light)
Switch open = normal (no light)
Resistor next to switch should be 6.8K. Raise value or remove resistor to simulate a fault condition.
Yellow light will come on.
This will not, however, detect if the switch itself is faulty: Therefore, at least annual testing is necessary to maintain safety.
