I using 40A fuse for current sense

My fuse resistance is 1.44mOhm

If the fuse blows, all energy will flow through the 1M resistor.

Nice, I never thought of using a fuse as a shunt before. I like that it reads high if the fuse blows.

I've added a relay to make a resetable 'fuse' controlled with a pot, but still has the hard limit provided by the fuse as a backup. https://everycircuit.com/circuit/5926078847385600
