The analog signal depending on the magnitude represents a digital number, that digital number gets converted to an analog voltage.   When the input sine wave blue is at a positive 2.5 volts, the DC is at 7.5 volts.  The input Analog voltage is 10 The digital number in HEX is A which is 1010.   The output is 10 volts.     The sine wave gets reproduced on the green graph
