Astable Multivibrator Driven Relay flasher

This circuit is just showing an example of how to use an astable Multivibrator to drive a relay for the purpose of cycling such as with a flasher.

but the driver transistor is in common base and does not help to unload the right flasher transistor. It even increases the current a lot with additional base current Ib, cuz the base resistor is quite low with 330 Ω. Better use a common emitter topology for the driver.
