single stage amplifier driving led

designed this amplifier to drive an led that i will be using in my optical transmission circuit. The input will be an audio signal instead of sine wave. I'm hoping this works in real life. Im getting a great response at my output so I'm very satisfied

I have no idea of what is your output, I suggest you can check the work status of the NPN.pls make sure the status is liner amplify

Your amp's ok, you're just overdriving it. Remove the LED, increase the 220nF cap to 2.2uF and the 20uF cap to at 100uF, and decrease the input to let's say 10mV
