Simple battery voltage tester, Adjust the voltage slowly downwards and watch the Green LED's dim followed by the yellow LED's. 

Green = Good battery (6v roughly)
Yellow = Ok but needs charging/replacing
Red = Charge/Replace. 

Adjust the resistors to suit required battery voltage if different to 6vdc.
