Hello there! With this led vu meter you ll be able to see the real signal of an. Audio source. Duplicate the circuit using a quad op amp like lm327, but it will work whit almost all the op amp.
You can also improve it using more op amp, connected with a 1k resistor, so you will have more led! In my personal version I made a vu meter whit 16 led! Connect the input of the potentiometer (in the schematic it is connected to a sinusoidal source) to the positive output of a speacker and enjoy!
