It was a bit difficult to make my own config with the closest 50% duty cycle and 60Hz frequency. This is as close as I have come. Feel free to use.

How stable do you think this be.. I have seen they use a transistoe or a diode to get 50% duty factor.

Well I did the math and I got a 52% duty cycle, stable enough for me. Thanks for the diode idea.

I found this, hope is of some use...https://www.google.com/url?q=https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/112875/astable-555-timing-circuit-0-5-hz-and-50-duty-cycle&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjOyLGporXiAhUqXRUIHSPnCncQFjABegQIChAB&usg=AOvVaw2Jcmrd7EviDGvC1YveDoK8

Thanks Kiani! I tweaked the value of R1 to get a 60Hz wave and got it, thanks!

@sshsslfun, note for the pure RC implementation, Ra can be minimum 1kOhm while Rb can be max 2Mohm for bipolar cheap 555. From this configuration 1k 2M you have to choose a capacitor to get close to 60Hz and tune the resistance 2M to get exact 60Hz. The 1k can not be made smaller to not overload the open collector transistor at pin7 to discharge the C, and the 2M can not be greate cuz 555 also need some current for its internal comoeratots and if its more then the charge current C wont increase in voltage. C also has a parallel parasitic leakage resistor/current. All other with diodes do cuz newly offset problems and also limited in presicion. I would prefer a pure RC as long its not clear why it must be exact 1:1 !

Won't we need 1;1 for FSK, for example!?

no, cuz unwanted harmonics are present anyway and have to be filtered cut, doesn't matter if 1:1 or 1:10
