This 555 based SSTC interrupter has four adjustment pots, the first two control burst on and off length with a range of about 1Hz to around 50Hz, while the second two control pulse on and off length with a range of about 300Hz to 6kHz. It’s designed for use with MOSFET driver IC’s with the ENABLE feature and is based on Steve Ward’s design. Works on a breadboard. *NOTE* Output cap is not required and is only used for simulation stability. The same with the second voltage supply for the indicator LED, I’m not sure why but running it off the one supply causes “cannot find solution” I built this circuit and noted that using a FET on the ground of the second 555 leaves the output HIGH when off, I simply moved it to the input Vcc and it works fine.
