Diodes for Beginners

LEDs act like regular diodes.  That's why they aren't included.  Diodes conduct current in only one direction, so they can be used to change AC (e.g. an outlet) to DC (e.g. your device charger).  Zener diodes are different.  Comment what the difference is!  (If you're experienced, don't put down the answer! Pls and thx!)
