So how do I use a transformer in this app? This basic rectifying circuit is just my stand at an example to ask questions on. Case in point, I'm not sure what to do about the power source to make it start working after setting it to be ac as far as I can see, but it also has a DC aspect to the settings. Clearly I don't have an understanding on how to use transformers or power source miss id potentially. Can you provide a shove in the right direction anyone? Thanks!

Just take an other one ground fron the tool library and connected to the lower one terminal of the primary coil of transform it will work.......i don't know why simulator is need it?

Increase simulator speed to see the results you expected too.

Transformers do not like a DC voltage across the primary, see http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6453499730329600 for a circuit to play with.

Thanks guys and duh on me for having a DC power source to run a transformer. It should be pulsed or ac. I will try the extra ground on the other end of the primary also.
