if controller with thyristor is nonsense, this is 2nd how to conotrol AC wave. DC pwm is modulate to AC wave. For asynchronic capacitorless motors (i didn't try it with capacitor ), synchronic motor and more. NOT for switched-mode power supply!!! Potentiometer on OP-AMP make PWM 0-100%
