Basic Distortion Pedal for Guitar

The AC source is the clean input (the guitar plugs into here.) The 9V DC is a battery.  The lamp represents the distorted (wet) output that connects to your guitar amp. You can play with all the individual components to change the sound to your liking.  Have fun.

Just got done putting this together on breadboard and then soldered to a prototype board. It works well. I used a 2n5551 for the transistor and uf4007 diodes.
