Maybe somebody can help me. I have an old camera but the cable is missing and battery is dead. I wanted to use this circuit to get about 7.4 volts which seems to work but not enough Ampere to get it working.

Search 12.7V to approx. 7.5V, this circuit gives a pretty stable output. Shown here with a bulb as load giving 500mA.
