The left switch is set("on" button)(wait intil AFTER the button is released), the right switch is reset("off" button), and the way far right switch short circuits within 10-OHMS, trips the circuit so you set it again. You can't short and hold the "on" button, because it doesn't turn on intil the "on" button is released. Holding "on" and shorting the circuit at the same time can trick the circuit breaker to still be on.
