Test 555 circuit

Could someone help me out, it isn't working as it should be and I don't know what to do to get it to work

Is this a monoestable or astable???

If this is a astable it means it generates a multi state signal and one led must be on while the other off. Is this is what you want the 10k resistor must be 2.2k and must be to the + of the voltage source not the pin3 of the 555 since this is the output.

And a 1k resistor must be add between the 2.2k resistor and the capacitor. While pin 6 and 2 are the ones that control the state of the 555 the must go to the input of the capacitor. And the pin 7 is the discharge must go to the input of the 1k resistor.
