Diode triggers the scr at certain angle of input.

No. The transistor transistor configuration is just a way to model the scr. The characteristics and construction of both semiconductor s is different. Observe carefully there is no phase angle of trigger, it is just that the diode needs at least. 7v to be ON. From 0 to. 7v the output will be zero on either side of rising and falling edge of the sine wave.
