The current is limited with the voltage value of the DC source on the right, if the current on the load (4Ω resistor), is over the set 2A, the circuit will start to turn On and Off in order to keep the average current on 2A.

See your circuit keeps cutting power on and off. Now that's a bad idea, especially with a relay. A relay might take a second or two to react and letting the over-current flow through your faulty circuit for that period of time on and off is bad. Your "protection" circuit must shut off permanently when a fault is detected, and must be reset manually (like an MCB). Such a circuit is called Latching Type Current limiter.

Sure, instead of the relay it should be use a MOSFET as switch, Is just that I couldn't simulate it with the relay. Thanks for your comments
