This simple circuit can be used to detect Positive (Rising) edges and Negative (Falling) edges, the upper digital input sets weather to detect rising or falling edges I.e. '1' for rising and '0' for falling. When the edge is detected a pulse with a duration of one clock pulse is output at the AND gate, thus this circuit must be supplied with clock synchronized with the CU.
