Hi thanks for the advice but when I remove the lower capacitor the system resets but the lights don't flash in sequence. They all come on and go off at the same time.

All capacitors = 100uf all rezistors of 30k replace with to 10k the 4k rezistor replace with 1k and remouve first diode (left down plan)

I think the diode by the 555 had more than one path, the NPN path wasn't easiest to ground
