The voltage at output is fed back to the op-amp and compared with the sawtooth signal. When the voltage at the output changes, due to a change in load, the pulse width from the op amp will change. This will give more or less power, to maintain the desired voltage at the output. Adjust the load to see how the pulse width changes to cope with the change in load. Then, open the switch in the feedback and do the same.
