Hello Every one, I am pretty new at this and I was wondering if anyone can help with this question: The top is suppose to be an N type but the arrow is facing outwards and the bottom is suppose to be a P type but the arrow is facing in. I thought it was suppose to be the other way around for both? N type arrow In P type arrow out??? thanks

They’re correct. Look at the bipolar transistors, they similarly have arrow facing outwards for NPN. You could Google it :-)

I had the exact same confusion when I was new. :) It makes sense when you look at a common-emitter or common-source circuit; current flows in the direction of the arrow.
