A circuit designed to manage a lead battery (represented by the capacitor). Input voltage from 15V to 50V
1)It charges the battery with a constant current of 500mA up to 12V.
2)Then the voltage of the battery is kept between 12V and 12.2V.
3)If the battery is undercharged (below 10.5V) the output is turned off until the battery is full again.
Notes :
- The simulation can't start if the switch on the bottom right is closed. To start, open it then start the simulation and then close it.
- There's a button to discharge the battery, try it.
- Resistors aren't calculated to match E12, E24, Etc series. If you want to make this circuit and have calculated the value, please leave a comment.
- Don't forget to put some protection on it if you create it.
